Independent judgement

Evidence should inform a conclusion, even when it challenges a familiar view. Our commitment is to clear reasoning, honest communication and advice that can withstand scrutiny.

Assumptions, material uncertainties and the limits of an analysis should be made clear.

Conflicts of interest

Relationships and interests that could influence professional judgement should be raised and considered before work proceeds. A conflict should be addressed in a way that preserves independence and the interests of those affected.

Where a conflict cannot be appropriately managed, the work should not proceed.

Integrity in business

Bribery, corruption and improper inducements have no place in our work. Payments, gifts, hospitality or other benefits must not be used to secure an improper advantage or compromise a business decision.

We expect business to be conducted honestly, with respect for applicable law and the responsibilities that come with operating across borders.

Confidentiality and data

Information entrusted to us should be handled with care, used for an appropriate purpose and shared only where authorised or legally required. Commercial sensitivity and individual privacy deserve attention throughout the work.

Human rights and responsible sourcing

We oppose forced labour, human trafficking, child exploitation, discrimination and harassment. Respect for human dignity and fair treatment should inform decisions about work and business relationships.

We expect suppliers and business partners to uphold lawful, fair working practices. Commercial opportunity should not depend on exploitation or the disregard of basic rights.
